Development Manager
|
| The
Business Development Manager will support the
Business Development team, whose charter is to: |
|
|
Continue
& expand relationships with all existing customers |
|
|
Develop new relationships |
|
|
Maximize sales
and marketing opportunities for Simbiosys Biowares
services / products
|
|
|
|
|
|
Develop
and maintain a Marketing Plan for his / her
portfolio of services & products for all
India territory
|
|
|
Develop
and maintain an in-depth understanding of the
customer and customer needs while identifying
business development opportunities
|
|
|
Proactively
develop sales opportunities and prepare proposals
in conjunction with the Business Development
Group
|
|
|
Develop
and maintain expert technical knowledge across
the product/service line
|
|
|
Develop
strong relationships and communication with
both internal and external customers
|
|
|
Maintain
excellent relationships with each customer through
face-to-face meetings, phone or electronic mail
|
|
|
Research,
troubleshoot, and follow through for prompt
resolution of any customer question, issue,
or complaint
|
|
|
Depending
upon location, position may require travel up
to 50%
|
|
|
|
|
|
Bachelor's
or advanced degree in Life Sciences or related
discipline
|
|
|
At
least 2 -3 years marketing and sales experience
with pharmaceutical products company, or pharmaceutical
contract research company or laboratory reagent
/ equipment company or biotechnology services
company
|
|
|
Hands-on
experience with marketing, sales & distribution
for life sciences products / services
|
|
|
Technical
knowledge of laboratory reagents requirements
in pharmaceutical or diagnostic research a plus
|
|
|
Demonstrated
ability to communicate at all levels of the
organization, including presentation skills
|
|
|
Effective
time management skills
|
|
|
Ability
to work independently and prioritize day to
day activities
|
|
|
|
